Fun stuff:
G.I.Joe
I recently purchased a set of 3 videos of the old G.I.Joe cartoons from the 80's that I absolutely lived and breathed as a kid. I was so excited when I found them in the video store to purchase. I ran home, put one of the tapes in and prepared myself for an exciting evening. Except one thing: they were boring and lame. Funny how things seem so different years later......
Simpsons
Calvin & Hobbes
Cutest guys:
My all time favorite is Jason Scott Lee. I've seen almost all of his movies, including many of the bad "B" movies he's been in during the last several years. He's a great actor, just wish he could get in something worthwhile again, like during his early career. You may remember him from "Map of the Human Heart," "Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story," or "Jungle Book." He has his own website, but nothing's been up there for a long time so it's kind of a useless link.
Other favorites are:
Shemar Moore Believe it or not, I actually ran into him in person once in a Washington, DC coffeeshop! I had no idea what to say and kind of wasted the opportunity since I just kind of stood there looking dumb. I talked with him a bit about DC, his career, and such, but didn't want to look like a crazy groupie and so I said my goodbyes. If only I could meet up with him again and actually have some kind of willpower. It was amazing seeing him in person, however. He is even better looking in person, as hard as that is to believe.
Eddie Cibrian (Check out his small scene in "Living Out Loud." It's totally unbelievable)
Benjamin Bratt
Lou Diamond Phillips
Chris Klein (I know probably everyone knows him from "American Pie," but fall in love with him easily in his littler movies: "Election" and "Here on Earth". "Here on Earth" is a wonderful, beautiful movie that is one of my favorites of the last year)
And finally:
A special tribute to the late River Phoenix. He meant more to me than could be explained and when he died I was saddened more than I can relate. I wore black clothing for 3 days. I even ended up having a letter to the editor in Newsweek about my respect for his talent and personality. He was a beautiful man.
